Maggie Andrew keeps on fighting in new song “Fall Like a Feather”

Whether it’s blending genres or working with some of music’s biggest icons, rising star Maggie Andrew is known for trying out anything new. Her work has amassed over six million global streams and has won awards, contests, and accolades such as the 2024 CBC Searchlight contest and the 2024 ANSMA Artist and Album of the Year awards. Her new song “Fall Like a Feather” focuses on never giving up.

“Fall Like A Feather” is about never losing hope in your dreams. Through strong harmonies and powerful percussion, Maggie Andrew shares her message of gathering strength during hard times. The lyrics encourage listeners to get back up again after falling down and especially confronts gender-based oppression. Sharing more about the writing process for this song, she says,

‘Fall Like a Feather’ was written with an incredible group of women. It’s about overcoming the struggles we’ve faced as women, artists, and people in a world that constantly conspires to knock us down.”
