Miley Cyrus has announced her upcoming ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, due out May 30 through Columbia Records.
The project will feature 13 tracks, executive produced by herself and Shawn Everett, as new visuals appear on her website and social media accounts, representing this new musical era — and it’s dark.

The album artwork was captured by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford, with the 32-year-old draped in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, a striking nod to the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling.
Cyrus officially started teasing her upcoming album on Monday, March 17, an album of “healing.”
Cyrus hasn’t dropped an album since 2023’s Endless Summer Vacation, which reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200. This led “Flowers” to become an eight-week Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single, which also won Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2024 Grammys.
