Counterparts brings the heat to Nashville

Date:

Counterparts brought the Heaven Let Them Die tour to Eastside Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this week. Joining them on tour is Foreign Hands, Malevolence, and Pain of Truth destined to give fans a show they wont soon forget.

Canadian band, Counterparts formed in 2007, and has made a name for themselves with their signature blend of melodic hardcore and devastating breakdowns. Frontman, Brendan Murphy, commanded the stage with an intense presence, his guttural screams and impassioned delivery resonating deeply with the fans. Opening up with “A Martyr Left Alive,” Counterparts played a list of fan favorites including “Paradise and Plague,” “Cherished,” “Monument,” “Heaven Let Them Die,” and closed out the nineteen song set with “Whispers of Your Death,” a song dedicated to Murphy’s beloved cat Kuma.

Murphy took moments between songs to interact with the crowd, sharing memories, cracking jokes, and expressing gratitude for the continued support. There was an undeniable sense of unity in the room between both fans and band members alike. As the night drew to a close, Counterparts left everything on the stage. The band exited to roaring applause, leaving everyone in attendance awaiting their return.

The Heaven Let Them Die tour began on February 17th in Toronto, and hit several major cities including Tampa, Atlanta, Denver and finished up on March 22nd in Detroit, Michigan. Although the tour has sadly came to an end, there will be plenty of chances to catch this band live near you click here for new music and tour announcements.
