Catlea releases ‘Language Barrier’ album with standout single “Why Them?”

Date:

Rising pop star Catlea‘s newest song, “Why Them?” was released March 6 along with the entire Language Barrier album. Language Barrier takes listeners through the journey of a broken relationship, and hopes to lift any listener’s spirits who has felt shattered after a breakup.

“Why Them?” focuses on resilience as Catlea twists and turns through the difficulties of finding yourself among the chaos. The track is infectious, with strong driving beats and hooks that make it impossible to hit pause.

For Catlea, music creates a connection between isolation and connection. About making music, they said:

“We all feel a little bit alone sometimes. We all wonder if anyone else feels the way we do, or if anyone could ever understand us. But the truth is, when you’re singing along with a crowd at a concert, at some point all of those people listened to that song for the first time and resonated with it for one reason or another just like you did. That’s an awesome connection.”
