Great Good Fine Ok release “Forget You,” the penultimate single from their upcoming EP

Date:

Brooklyn-based pop duo Great Good Fine Ok (GGFO) are professional hitmakers. Composed of vocalist Jon Sandler and producer and multi-instrumentalist Luke Moellman, they create a funky, commercial, highly danceable electronic pop sound. They’ve pulled out all the bells and whistles for their new single, “Forget You.”

This is the second to last single released off of their upcoming EP SEVEN, adding to their multitudinous catalogue composed of numerous EPs and singles. A good GGFO song combines funky falsettos with clean, busy, danceable production. “Forget You” is no different, blending in perfectly with the current landscape of commercial pop and the rest of GGFO’s discography. GGFO adds,

“The honest and vulnerable lyrics combined with our signature funky pop dance vibe come together better than ever. It might be our favorite song yet!”

With a sound reminiscent of 2010s radio, its no surprise that GGFO co-wrote and performed the Chainsmokers “Let You Go.” They have extreme songwriting and hit-making  talent seemingly throwing songs at the wall until something sticks in this age of viral content takeover. Still, the track is very clean and groovy, making it an easy listen. It is an altogether solid pop song that doesn’t push the boundaries or try anything risky. Sometimes thats ok, but it left me wanting a little more from these pop prolifics.
