Marc Atlas is an up-and-coming artist in the international music scene. Having grown up in a musical Kazakh inspired his artistry, and his family’s influence makes up the foundation of his musical expression and compositions. His latest release, “Fool,” focuses on chasing connections.
“Fool” is about giving your all to someone who doesn’t reciprocate your energy. Through strong vocals and light piano, Marc Atlas shares his struggles with running after love. While the person he likes has not shown interest in him, he still fights tooth and nail for an ounce of their attention, causing him to feel drained yet determined to nurture this relationship. He elaborates more on the meaning behind the song:
“‘Fool’ is a confession wrapped in vulnerability, a gamble on love where the stakes are everything and the payoff is heartbreak. It’s about chasing connection despite knowing the odds, pouring out every part of yourself—even when you’re left empty. It’s raw, it’s messy, and it’s the truth we often drown in silence: that love can make us fools, but in that foolishness, we find the depth of what it means to feel alive.”
