“Fool” is about giving your all to someone who doesn’t reciprocate your energy. Through strong vocals and light piano, Marc Atlas shares his struggles with running after love. While the person he likes has not shown interest in him, he still fights tooth and nail for an ounce of their attention, causing him to feel drained yet determined to nurture this relationship. He elaborates more on the meaning behind the song:
