Canadian singer Lauren Mandel — better known by her moniker LØLØ — or the pop-punk queen-in-waiting, released her debut album, falling for robots and wishing i was one, in June 2024 after spending three years working on it. Balancing wit with emotion, LØLØ navigates unstable relationships, letting her anger and betrayal shine through. With her heart on her sleeve, she delivers a debut album that is both cathartic and unfiltered. Now, she is back with the deluxe edition of the record, out today (Feb. 7), four months after announcing it in October 2024.
She released its first track titled “DON’T!” on Oct. 17, followed by “hot girls in hell (sad version)” on Dec. 12. Later this month, she will embark on her first-ever headlining tour, U TOUR ME ON — a playful spin on her track “u turn me on (but u give me depression).” The tour will kick off in Boston, Massachusetts, on Feb. 19 and ends in Detroit, Michigan on March 13.
On Instagram, LØLØ teased that fans can hear the original demo of “u & the tin man” from the first day she wrote it, as well as the version of “die without u” she has been performing live recently.
