Recent News: Released his new album Downbeat on December 13. Will embark on his debut headlining tour in January 2025.

On December 13, rising country star Ben Chapman released his third album Downbeat. Perhaps his most authentic body of work to date, Chapman says Downbeat portrays him at his most confident when it comes to his signature musical style. Combing influences of folk, blues, and country, Chapman delivers his artistry with a unique Americana air, giving his music an unforgettably raw authenticity.

Long before moving to Nashville at the ripe age of 21, Chapman knew he wanted to pursue music. After finally moving to one of music’s prolific cities (following the advice of fellow Georgia native and musician Channing Wilson), Chapman was relentless when it came to making a name for himself and making connections with others in the music industry. After years of playing countless gigs and honing in on his craft, Chapman was no stranger to cutting his teeth in local music scenes.

Carrying with him the same signature storytelling that has only been truly encapsulated by country music’s greatest stars (think Chris Stapleton or Randy Travis), Chapman follows a traditional path within his musicianship, which in itself is groundbreaking in current country music’s prevalent pop influence. Heavy tinted in shades of blues and gospel, Chapman’s country music is bound to hook all those who listen.

To celebrate the release of his recent record, Chapman will embark on his debut headlining tour — The Downbeat Tour — in 2025. Chapman will hit the road early next year, starting January 16 in Pittsburgh. He will tour throughout the Midwest and the South before wrapping up the tour on March 1 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Known for his incredibly intentional songwriting process, Chapman takes his time with songwriting — whether it’s hours, days, weeks or months. Downbeat conveys Chapman reaching new sonic heights, and in the new year, Chapman will focus on touring and sharing his new record across the U.S.
