daste. shares their experiences with love in new song “River”

Date:

daste. is an indie pop trio from Australia. They are known for their smooth R&B and soul influences, similar to artists such as LEISURE, Jungle, and Still Woozy. Their new song “River,” from their upcoming sophomore LP, focuses on the complexities of love.

“River” is about finding yourself through your partner. Through soft vocals and leading piano, daste. reflects on how they have a more positive outlook on life since starting new relationships. Lyrics such as “As long as you’re by my side / Everything will be alright” show their love for their relationships and their admiration for their partners.
