The Wombats have unveiled their latest single, “Blood On The Hospital Floor”, along with the announcement of a European tour. The Liverpool-based trio debuted the track at Reading & Leeds, and the release is accompanied by a music video directed by James Slater.
Matthew “Murph” Murphy, the band’s lead vocalist, shared his thoughts on the new single, saying, “The idea behind “Blood On The Hospital Floor” is that things that might seem difficult in life can often have a simple resolution. Things are not always as bad as they first may seem. The analogy of mopping up blood from the hospital floor – cleaning up the mess and keeping going.”
This European tour will follow the band’s previously announced UK arena tour, kicking off in Cologne, Germany and finishing up in Brussels, Belgium.
