This Friday, Los Angeles’ favorite emo rock group Grave Secrets will be dropping their new single “S2L” via Graveboy Records. Combining influences from post-hardcore and heavy emo rock, Grave Secrets melds melodic compositions with their hard-hitting musicality to deliver something undeniably exciting and authentic.

Formed in 2020 and consisting of Vinny Morales (vocals, rhythm guitar), Kevin Gonzalez (lead guitar), Kevin Casteñeda (drums) and Carlos Bayona (bass), the members of Grave Secrets are just as passionate about creating music as they are listening to and living it. Heavily rooted in their local LA music scene, Grave Secrets is a direct result of the city’s unwavering influence on its local music lovers. Drawing heavy inspiration from their early hardcore beginnings, Grave Secrets pours nostalgic, emo influences over their punk artistry to create their own combination of rock ‘n’ roll.

This Friday, Grave Secrets will release their new single “2SL,” which directly follows their two singles “Stuck Inside” and “TICKET” released in February and March of this year, respectfully. The band also has two full-length albums under their belt: Til Your Lungs Fall Out (2023) and S/T (2022). Renowned for their deeply personal and reflective lyrics, Grave Secrets write about vulnerable experiences regarding hurt, pain, love and hope. Til Your Lungs Fall Out serves as a definitive body of work from the LA rock group, and the band’s recent and upcoming singles are an exciting glimpse at what the future holds in store for Grave Secrets.

Although a rising rock group, Grave Secrets has proven to already have a devoted following from their hometown. As the group continues to release a steady stream of singles, there’s no doubt that the group will soon become a band that’s on everyone’s radar.
