The chapter of Juice WRLD‘s legacy is closing soon, five years after his death. The Illinois-born artist’s fifth and final posthumous album The Party Never Ends, is scheduled to be released on Nov. 29, 2024, coinciding with Black Friday and just days before the fifth anniversary of his passing.
On Thursday (Nov. 21), Juice WRLD’s team unveiled a trailer for the highly anticipated album. The video features actor Eric Roberts, who portrays a grandfather introducing his grandchildren to Juice WRLD’s music decades into the future. Roberts, who recently appeared on the 33rd season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, plays a nostalgic role in celebrating Juice’s enduring influence.
Hints about the album date back to July 2021, when Juice’s manager, Lil Bibby, revealed plans for it to be part of a trilogy with features from notable artists. On Feb. 4, 2023, Juice’s estate confirmed the project was actively in development.
The first single from the album, “Lace It,” was released in December 2023 and features collaborations with Eminem and producer Benny Blanco. Most recently, the track “AGATS2 (Insecure),” featuring Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj, debuted on Nov. 15, 2024.
On Oct. 14, 2024, Juice WRLD’s estate released The Pre-Party, a precursor to his final album, featuring a guest appearance from rapper Young Thug. An extended edition of the project later added two additional tracks.
Juice WRLD tragically passed away from a drug overdose on Dec. 8, 2019.
