Tate McRae announces third album ‘So Close To What’ and massive 2025 world Miss Possessive Tour

A year after dropping her sophomore album Think Later, multi-platinum artist Tate McRae has announced her third studio album, So Close To What, which will be released on Feb. 21, 2025, via RCA Records, along with a massive 2025 tour.

In support of the new album, McRae announced a massive 2025 tour, Miss Possessive Tour, a 50-date world tour covering South America, Europe, the UK and North America.

Before launching her next era, McRae will wrap up the Think Later World Tour this December with a series of final shows. Her new single, “2 hands,” drops tonight,  accompanied by a music video premiering at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET. This follows the release of her September single, “It’s ok I’m ok.”

The UK and European leg of the Miss Possessive Tour will feature support from BENEE, with tickets available on Nov. 22 at 9 a.m. local time. The North American dates will have Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson as the opening act, with tickets on sale at 11 a.m. local time on Nov. 22. Fans in Mexico City can purchase tickets starting at 11 a.m. local time on Nov. 23, with an artist presale available for sign-up here.
