Lemonade Baby is known for his blend of indie-pop and electro genres. With the announcement of his new mixtape/album, Lemonade Baby has been working tirelessly to release his new music. His latest release “Jupiter” focuses on uncertainty.
“Jupiter” is about figuring out where to go in life. Through dreamy piano and punchy percussion, Lemonade Baby shares the unknown of his future. Lyrics such as “But I don’t wanna count on the stars / If you don’t wanna be outside / Cos all of my life I’ve tried / But I’m still standing wondering why” show him grappling with what he wants to do moving forward.
Sharing more about “Jupiter”, Lemonade Baby comments:
“When I first made the demos for ‘Jupiter,’ I wasn’t exactly sure what it meant. A lot of the time, the lyrics don’t reveal their meaning to me until I revisit them weeks, sometimes even months, later. Looking back, I realize ‘Jupiter’ is really about letting go of the need to know where you’re going or how you’re going to get there. It’s a reflection of that uncertainty we all feel about life unfolding in unexpected ways. I often have plans or expectations, but this track is about being okay with not having all the answers and embracing the unknown. Listening to it now makes me feel good about the unpredictability of it all.”
