Emma Teufel dances out her troubles in “Genesis”

Date:

Singer-songwriter Emma Teufel recently began releasing music under her own name, and just put out her second single, “Genesis.” Her first single, “Parking Lot,” sparked a lot of buzz on her social media platforms, racking up over 16,000 Spotify streams and generating an influx of overwhelmingly positive feedback on Instagram.

“Genesis” aims to spin life’s dreariness in a positive way, according to Teufel. She said life may be a lot to cover in just one song, but she believes the lyrics, melody and instrumentals in “Genesis” give insight into carrying on past life’s troubles. She added:

“Whether you’re trying to stay awake on your commute home from work or listening to a doctor recommend medication to deal with inner turmoil, you can still see the positive of dancing and spinning around while you figure it out.”

Teufel’s skillful production has allowed her to produce a perfect track that gives the best sounds of the early 2000s. Listening to “Genesis” will surely make you want to dance away all of your problems.
