Coyote Theory weighs their options on new song “Waiting on the Weather”

Date:

Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Coyote Theory is a jazz-pop band looking to release new music in the world. They gained virality online after the release of their song “This Side of Paradise” in 2020. Their latest release “Waiting on the Weather” focuses on waiting for change.

“Waiting on the Weather” is about waiting for outside forces to create change in your environment. Through steady percussion and light guitar, Coyote Theory watches their life slip away because they lack confidence in their ability to take charge. The chorus sings “I need it more than ever / I’m feeling overwhelmed / You’re waiting on the weather / I can’t control myself” showing the push and pull between wanting to take a backseat and leading the way to create this change they are looking for.
