Sabrina Carpenter turns Short n’ Spooky in Dallas

Date:

Sabrina Carpenter’s Halloween-themed Short n’ Spooky show in Dallas was a thrilling and festive adaptation of her Short n’ Sweet tour. Decked out in themed costumes, Sabrina delighted her audience with a lineup of hits, fan interactions, and Halloween-inspired twists all in support of her recent album Short n’ Sweet.

As always, the evening kicked off with the “Short n’ Sweet Show” video intro. However, instead of her classic outfit, Sabrina emerged as a cheeky Playboy Bunny, complete with black ears, a bow tie, and a tail, her tights reading “Short n Spooky.” The first act opened with “Taste”  and transitioned into upbeat numbers like “Good Graces” and “Slim Pickins.” During “Bed Chem,” she added a special Halloween touch: a skeleton stand-in.

Act II introduced Sabrina’s next costume: Sandy from Grease. She began the segment with another interlude titled “Sabrina After Dark,” displaying the names of her backup singers and band. Sabrina’s playful rendition of “Feather” was particularly memorable, as she leaned into her Sandy persona. Her setlist here mixed fast-paced hits like “Fast Times” with more introspective songs such as “Sharpest Tool” and “Opposite.” This act also included the surprise of the night: a cover of “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” a tribute to her Grease character, Sandy.

The third and final act saw Sabrina taking the stage as Tinker Bell, opening with the video interlude “Don’t Touch That Dial!” which prepared the crowd for the show’s grand finale. With songs like “Dumb & Poetic” and “Juno,” she leaned into the theatricality of the moment, adding another Halloween touch with her “BOO” pose for “Juno,” a crowd-pleasing twist on her usual fan interaction. The night closed with “Please Please Please” and “Don’t Smile” before ending with a single song encore, “Espresso.”

In addition to Sabrina’s costumes, her whole staff and crew even celebrated by dressing as yours truly, Sabrina Carpenter.

Tour will resume tomorrow, November 1 in Denver, CO. All ticket and sign up information can be found here.
