Mondaze accepts fate on new song “Son of the Rambling Dawn”

Date:

Inspired by artists such as Swervedriver and Ride, Italian band Mondaze is known for their “heavy shoegaze” style. They are releasing a new album, Linger, on November 22, 2024, which hopes to amplify the strong messages shared in their music. Their new single off the album “Son of the Rambling Dawn” is about the ups and downs of life.

“Son of the Rambling Dawn” is about the unpredictability of life. Through steady percussion and leading guitar, Mondaze accepts the unknown future, ready to take on whatever life throws at them. Lyrics such as “Triumph and downfall / Both fleeting in their stay / Life’s a coin’s flip / Come what may” show this uncertainty and their bravery to face it.

Sharing more about the meaning behind “Son of the Rambling Dawn”, Mondaze comments:

“[‘Son of the Rambling Dawn’ focuses on] the fleeting nature of life and the unavoidable fate that accompanies it, where uncertainty reigns and everything is destined to change.”
