Recent News: Their new album Melt comes out October 25. Their Will Make You…Melt Tour begins today.

Through sweat-inducing indie lyricism and a highly emotive musicality, there’s no doubt that Beach Weather will make you melt. As the renowned pop-rock group soon prepares for the release of their sophomore album Melt via Arista Records, their devoted following of fans are waiting in heavy anticipation. The band’s upcoming LP follows their 2023 debut album Pineapple Sunrise.

The band’s new record is set to release this Friday after Beach Weather head out on their Will Make You…Melt Tour this Wednesday. Throughout October and November, the group will tour the US before moving move through the UK and Europe. Ahead of their upcoming album, the band has released four singles: “High in Low Places,” “Hottest Summer on Record,” “Hardcore Romance” and “Deadbeat Blues.”

Originally formed in 2015, Beach Weather was the project of former Rocket to the Moon frontman Nick Santino. Composed of Santino (vocals, rhythm guitar), Reeve Powers (bass) and Sean Silverman (lead guitar), the band released their debut EP What A Drag and toured alongside the likes of Sleeping With Sirens, PVRIS and Against the Current in 2016. Beach Weather dropped their debut EP Chit Chat, which features the band’s Platinum-certified single “Sex, Drugs, Etc.”, that same year. This EP was soon followed by their 2017 EP Basement Sessions. The next day following the release of Basement Sessions, Beach Weather announced they would be taking an indefinite hiatus.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Santino considered picking up music again, and soon Beach Weather was reunited in 2022. In June of that year, “Sex, Drugs, Etc.” went viral on TikTok, was soon picked up by radio outlets, and proceeded to top the Billboard charts nearly six years after its initial release. Beach Weather released their first original release in six years with their single “Unlovable,” and dropped their debut full-length studio album Pineapple Sunrise in 2023.

That same year, Beach Weather was nominated for Best New Artist (Alternative & Rock) at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, and have since gone on to tour with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fall Out Boy, Pale Waves and The Beaches, and have played numerous musical festivals including BottleRock Napa Valley, Shaky Knees Music Festival, and Summerfest, among others.

As Beach Weather prepares to share their sophomore album with the world, listeners can expect to find the resilience and determination that the band has embodied throughout their career. A stronger, and perhaps darker, sound is now emerging, and it seems guaranteed to have a hold on those who dare to listen.
