The Kid LAROI releases buzzing new single, “APEROL SPRITZ”

Date:

After months of anticipation, The Kid LAROI has finally released his eagerly awaited single, “APEROL SPRITZ”. Fans have been buzzing for weeks for the release of the track, thanks to the constant snippets on TikTok. As these snippets flooded social media, the question on everyone’s mind was: who is this song about?

Though speculated to be about LAROI’s girlfriend and fellow pop star Tate McRae, with lyrics “I drink Henn’ / she drink Aperol Spritz,” neither of the stars have confirmed who the song is truly about.

Bringing a refreshingly sunny and bouncy vibe that feels as intoxicating as the cocktail it’s named after, LAROI’s blend of hip-hop, pop and R&B come through seamlessly. “APEROL SPRITZ” follows THE FIRST TIME (DELUXE VERSION),GIRLS” and “Hatred” (with Lil Yachty).

The track was released with an accompanying music video, directed by Alex Lill. The music video captures the aesthetic of a fashion spread you’d see straight out of a ’90s magazine, featuring dozens of women chasing LAROI in slow motion.

You can now stream the song on your preferred platform of choice, here.

The release also comes off LAROI’s performance at the NRL Grand Final— a major sport event in Australia–making the song truly feel like winning celebration.

The Kid LAROI will end off 2024 with a tour in his home country of Australia with some reschedule shows with support from Quavo and Onefour.
