Florida based metalcore band Wage War made a pitstop at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works this week as they travel across the United States on The Stigma Tour. Supporting acts on this tour include Erra, Thrown, and Fame on Fire which add a wide variety for music lovers from all over. With a line of fans out the door they packed the 1500 capacity venue eagerly awaiting a night of live music.
Formed in 2010 Wage War has taken the music world by storm over the last decade with their heavy breakdowns, powerful riffs, and combination of screams and clean vocals. Briton Bond partners with clean vocalist Cody Quistad to give fans a unique vocal variety that is unmatched. Performing their heart out for Nashville fans, they played a total of 17 songs, which includes a 2 song encore. Fans from all over sang along to their favorite hits which included “Stitch,” “Gravity,” “Circle the Drain,” and closed out the night with “Manic.” Adding to the excitement, Wage War delivered an incredible light show, with lights bursting during the breakdowns and creating a cool, moody atmosphere during slower songs like “Gravity,” which really added an intimate feel to the performance. This night was truly one to remember, from the bands incredible stage presence to the crowds energy the entire venue felt electric, and like one big family at a metal show. Wage War set out exactly what they came to do, and we cannot wait to see them next time.
Lucky for you the tour is just getting started, and will pass through Boston, Dallas, and San Diego before finishing up in Atlanta on November 3rd. This is a show you do not want to miss click HERE to see where they will be next.
