Piper Connolly stands her ground on new song “welcome back girl”

Date:

Piper Connolly is known for her blending of pop and rock genres. Often compared to artists and bands such as Avril Lavigne and Paramore, Piper Connolly focuses on sharing authentic stories and expressing herself through her 90s grunge, classic rock, ska, and R&B aesthetic. Her latest release “welcome back girl” focuses on learning to love yourself again after a toxic relationship.

“welcome back girl” is about finding inner confidence. Through powerful vocals and supportive strings, Piper Connolly sings about becoming self-reliant after a rough relationship ended. The chorus sings, “I’ll burn their house to the ground / Don’t need it, take back what is / Mine / I don’t need anyone else, just me and myself / Welcome back girl” showing the power Piper Connolly has regained after being drained of it from others.
