Florida based, Rain City Drive released a new track this week entitled “Concrete Closure” via Thriller Records. The track is the last single release before their upcoming record Things Are Different Now, out on September 27th. This new release follows previously released tracks “Medicate Me,” “Neverbloom,” and “Frozen.”
“Concrete Closure” displays the tension of seeking closure from someone who insists on keeping the connection alive, even when the relationship seems over. Something we all have experienced in life. The upbeat rock anthem really dives into the unresolved tensions of a relationship that never truly ends.
On the new the new single, McAndrew comments:
”Concrete Closure aims to capture the frustration of ending a relationship with someone who, under the pretense of seeking closure, is merely trying to prolong the breakup and find a way back into your life. Even when it’s clear that the chapter needs to be closed for good.”
Rain City Drive will be hitting the road this fall on their first ever headline tour with special guests Until I Wake, Siamese, and Nightlife. They will also be joining Dayseeker in Europe following.
