Muo Duo takes listeners on a whirlwind journey in “Daisy”

Date:

The brother-sister duo of Miles and Winter Donnelly, best known as Muo Duo, released their newest song, “Daisy,” on Sept. 6. While they may be young, this duo is a force to be reckoned with. In high school, Miles studied composition at Juilliard, mastering the fundamentals of music in order to break the rules perfectly in his own work. At only 14 years old, Winter has found herself performing in Frozen on Broadway, and is a member of the children’s chorus at the MET Opera.

About working together to produce music, Winter said:

“Miles and I have naturally found a way to blend our vocal sound and we love singing together finding new ways to express ourselves.”

“Daisy” is Muo Duo’s most heart wrenching piece yet. Leading with an addictive chorus, the track takes the listener through a whirlwind journey of what it is like to lose love too early. The song’s unique vocal melodies are sure to entrance listeners everywhere, and its chord progressions set the vibe for a quintessential indie experience.

About the songwriting process, Miles said:

“Music is addictive. Whenever you get that moment where everything comes together and the tune just hits, it is the most amazing feeling.”

Muo Duo plans to release 3 EPs in 2024, the first of which being The Muo Theory. Keep an eye out for it on the band’s website
