Last week, Noah Kahan hinted that he had “more up his sleeve” for his fans. The “more” he was referring to was Noah Kahan (Live at Fenway Park), a recording of his sold-out “We’ll All Be Here Forever” tour in Boston, Massachusetts. This album takes Kahan’s songs about mental health and relationships and gives them more emotional depth as he plays to his “hometown” audience.

While his music still features twangy banjo and vulnerable lyrics, Kahan elevates these qualities in Noah Kahan (Live at Fenway Park) by explaining the meaning behind his songs and expanding on the musical elements in them.

He creates a meaningful experience for his fans by inviting Gracie Abrams to perform his popular song, “Everywhere, Everything,” to playing “Maine” and “Mess” from his previous albums, playing his highly anticipated new song, “Pain Is Cold Water”, and embellishing the instrumentation from his previous recordings of Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) and Stick Season (Forever). Through these experiences, Kahan expresses his gratitude for his fans, friends, and family for supporting him along his musical journey.

Sharing more about Noah Kahan (Live at Fenway Park), Kahan states:
“The shows at Fenway Park were transcendent and magical and hard to describe. I won’t try to. Just listen to the crowd, feel the emotion of the people in that ballpark, hear me make corny jokes in between songs, and listen to the greatest two nights of my life, as I sit here and hope that this live album is enough to accurately paint the picture. When I listen I am brought right back there, surrounded by green and red and white and what felt like the entirety of New England cheering me on. This album is yours now.”
