Between rap, country and R&B, Jessie Murph is known for genre-bending since her debut three years ago. Murph is now continuing her “genreless” music career with the announcement of her debut album, That Ain’t No Man That’s The Devil, which is scheduled to be released on Sept. 6.
The upcoming 12-track record will feature three collaborations: “Wild Ones” with Jelly Roll, “Dirty” with Teddy Swims and “High Road” with Koe Wetzel. “Wild Ones” peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. The new song from the project, “Hope It Hurts,” coming to fans this Friday, Aug. 23.
The 19-year-old singer, known for tracks like “Son of a Bitch” and “Always Been You” will showcase her powerhouse voice, making it her boldest and most authentic work to date.
Murph will embark on the second leg of her In the Sticks Tour this fall. The tour will begin on Oct. 17 in Tucson, Arizona, and will conclude on Nov. 23 in Huntsville, Alabama. Presale begins today, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. local time. You can purchase your tickets and find more information here.
