Delights releases “I Think You Should Know” and announces new album ‘If Heaven Looks a Little Like This’

Date:

Indie pop and lo-fi band Delights is captivating listeners from the United Kingdom and beyond with their newest single, “I Think You Should Know”. The band also announced the release of their debut album, If Heaven Looks a Little Like This, out Sept. 27.

Since releasing their debut EP My Life in 2021, the group has amassed streams in the millions, playing for far and wide audiences who are madly in love with their music. They are making their own sound for themselves, straying away from a typical indie sound. About their creative vision, guitarist Ben Squires said:

“When we started out, we were just a typical indie band. We’ve tried to break away from that a little bit to not just be straight indie.”

“I Think You Should Know” is a scintillating track and the band’s second release from their debut album. The piece combines the disparate worlds of 10cc and Metronomy, and gives a nod to funk, soul, psychedelia, and more. With the song’s release, the band premiered its official music video on YouTube July 23. The video is vibrant and carefree, giving viewers a look into the upbeat personality of the group.

Delights will tour for the release of their new album this fall, closing in Manchester’s New Century Hall on Nov. 1. Tour tickets can be purchased on the band’s Songkick profile.
