Heather Kathryn searches for answers in “how we end”

Date:

Heather Kathryn is fighting for pop punk’s resurgence in the music industry. She uses her experiences of living in Los Angeles and dating mishaps to share stories centered around love, loss, and life. Her latest release “how we end”, explores uncertainty in relationships.

“how we end” questions the possibility of a future relationship. Through vulnerable acoustic guitar and smooth, powerful vocals, Heather Kathryn asks the person she loves if they feel the same way about her. Lyrics such as “If you don’t really feel the same / Know myself, I would take the blame / Wish that these feelings could disappear / Close my eyes and tell me how it ends” show the cycle of emotions she goes through as she waits for an answer.

Sharing more about “how we end”, Heather Kathryn comments:

“This is the love song of the EP. I wrote it in the beginning of a relationship when I really liked someone and I didn’t know how he felt. The lyrics really say it all.”
