Ceramic Animal hits listeners with two singles, music videos, and album announcement

Date:

Surf rock band Ceramic Animal is hitting the world of music hard with two new singles, music videos, and an album announcement, all on July 26.

In the band’s trademark comedic and quirky fashion, they dropped a teaser on YouTube on July 25, featuring themselves as the self-titled “Intergalactic Nasty Boys”:

The singles, “Maybe Tomorrow” and “Packaged Deals”, are part of the band’s upcoming fifth album. About these two songs, lead singer Chris Regan said:

“[Both songs] explore the interplay between the internal struggle for authenticity and the external pressures of societal expectations. They’re about the vulnerability of longing for genuine connection and the harsh realities of the transactional nature of success. An unfortunate reality in much of life.”

Focus track “Maybe Tomorrow” features haunting lyrics and a psych-rock edge as the band yearns for genuine change in the world’s complacency.

“Packaged Deals” explores the cost of success and ambition’s dark side, using gritty lyrics to juxtapose instant gratification against the modern world’s harsh reality. Both tracks offer a biting commentary on today’s society, leaving listeners with a deeper realization of our downfalls as a whole.

Ceramic Animal has gained recognition for their work from well-renowned artists, sharing the stage with the likes of Weezer, The Black Keys, and The Growlers. Their fourth and most recent album, Sweet Unknown, featured a collaborative effort with The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach.

In their upcoming album, fans can expect a new level of depth and maturity as the band makes an emboldened effort to refine their storytelling.
