Donald Glover has announced his final studio album titled Bando Stone & the New World under his stage name Childish Gambino will be released on July 19 through RCA Records. It also serves as the soundtrack from his upcoming film of the same name.
Glover’s new Childish Gambino song “Lithonia,” was released this week; it was co-produced by Glover, Ludwig Göransson, Max Martin and Michael Uzowuru.

Glover debuted the trailer for the new movie Bando Stone & the New World, which he directed, starred in and scored as Gambino. Glover portrays the titular character Bando Stone. In the trailer, Bando tries to deliver mail in an abandoned town before coming across one of the few townspeople, played by Jessica Allain. In “The New World“, Glover and Allain’s characters face monsters, dinosaurs and other futuristic and post-apocalyptic things.
Glover will also go on a massive Gambino tour called The New World Tour to support the album and film, with dates in North America, Europe and Australasia.
