Khalid sets August release date for his upcoming album ‘Sincere’

Date:

R&B singer Khalid has announced his third studio album, Sincere, is scheduled to be released on Aug. 2 via Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records. The singer had been teasing the album on his Instagram leading up to today’s announcement.

Sincere is a follow-up to Khalid’s previous record, Free Spirit, and features the already released singles “Adore U” and “Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me.” Known for exploring themes of youth and ambition as a 19-year-old, Khalid now delves into the closing chapter of adolescence and the transition into adulthood with Sincere.

Preorder Sincere now.

In a statement, Khalid wrote:

Sincere is a combination of my life experiences, it takes inspiration from conversations that I have had with my fans, supporters, and the people that love me. When I listen back to this project, I hear a sound that’s so unique and represents me at my best. This album is me at 26, continuing to evolve with the knowledge that I have garnered throughout the years.”

Khalid became famous for his 2016 debut single “Location” and its follow-up “Young Dumb & Broke.” Both tracks peaked within the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
