Sarah Kinsley to release debut album ‘Escaper’ on Sept. 6, announces The Escaper Tour

Date:

Alt-pop singer Sarah Kinsley has announced her debut full-length album titled Escaper, scheduled for release on Sept. 6 via Verve Forecast.

Having self-produced her previous EPs, The King (2021), Cypress (2022) and Ascension (2023), the album marks the first time Kinsley has collaborated with another producer in the studio.

Preorder Escaper now.

The album announcement was also accompanied by the release of the first single, “Last Time We Never Meet Again,” which Kinsley describes as feeling like a “celebratory goodbye.”

Kinsley spoke about the forthcoming record, saying:

“One realisation you have eventually as an insular, more introspective person is that there’s a world outside of yourself waiting for you to look into it. I had made every single EP from scratch, in the sweetness of my apartment… This record was meant to be grand and unstoppable. A beginning descent into freefall. Why protect that feeling in solitude? Why not invite another into that journey?”

Escaper tracklist:

1. Last Time We Never Meet Again
2. Realms
3. Glint
4. Sublime
5. My Name Is Dancing
6. Beautiful Things
7. Barrel Of Love
8. Matter
9. There Was A Room
10. Knights
11. Starling
12. Escaper

Kinsley is also set to tour North America, UK and Europe this fall in support of the album. The Escaper Tour will kick off on Sept. 15 in Vancouver, Canada, and conclude on Nov. 27 in Paris, France.
