MICHA Releases “Dead End of A Dream”, Title Track of Debut EP

Date:

MICHA, former member of standout musical duo Micha and Julia, released his latest single, “Dead End of A Dream”, on June 14. The track is one of six newly released singles for the artist, all packed into his debut solo EP, Dead End of A Dream. Determined to blur the lines of alternative and pop, MICHA takes inspiration from eclectic artists including Chet Baker and Jon Bellion.

While a member of Micha and Julia, MICHA had songs on top Apple and Spotify playlists, including New Music Daily and New Music Friday. The duo amassed over 2.5 million streams in just one year, and played top festivals in the Netherlands. In 2020, the pair split to pursue their own careers.

As a solo artist, MICHA writes his songs in Nashville, Tenn. This year, he is expected to play 40 venues as part of his Netherlands tour. His set will make you feel everything, from crying to wanting to get up and dance. He was also selected to play Popronde 2024, the Netherlands’ largest traveling music festival.

In “Dead End of A Dream”, MICHA tells the story of falling in love with someone who is already enamored with another. Through deeply heartfelt lyrics, he explores the question of whether to hold on or let go. With this piece, MICHA makes himself a name to know going into his season of touring.
