Global superstar Katy Perry, known for her hits like “Last Friday Night”, “Dark Horse” and “Teenage Dream”, is launching a new era following her departure from the iconic televised singing competition “American Idol.” After hosting private listening sessions for her upcoming sixth album, Perry announced that the first single, “Woman’s World,” will be released on Thursday, July 11, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The official video will debut the next morning, on July 12.
Perry is one of the best-selling musical artists of all time, boasting 115 billion streams and worldwide sales of over 70 million adjusted albums and 143 million tracks.
