Olivia Mason, also known as LYVIA, released her latest track “Rock With Me” this Friday. The singer-songwriter who got her start on The Voice UK in 2022 is making herself known in the world of British pop, having over 20 million views across TikTok and Instagram Reels. Since releasing her breakout single “Trippin” in 2023, she has gained over two million streams.
Mason is set to release her debut EP, Maid Marian Way, on June 28. Titled for the streets of Nottingham where Mason was a street performer, the EP pays homage to the start of her musical takeoff.
Mason often navigates themes of love, loss, and life in her music. In “Rock With Me”, she explores feelings of excitement associated with having a major crush.
About the song, Mason said:
“I just wanted to make a song I could dance to. We were actually dancing in the session when we were writing it. [I] wanted to write something that felt carefree and sexy and fun because the other tracks are more sensitive and soft and serious.”
