Sam Smith to celebrate the 10th anniversary of ‘In The Lonely Hour’ album with new edition out Aug. 2

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sam Smith is gearing up to release a special 10th anniversary edition of their debut album In The Lonely Hour on Aug. 2.

The iconic album, which originally debuted on May 26, 2014, will contain all 10 of its original songs, including popular hits such as “Stay With Me” and “Lay Me Down.”

In addition to the original songs, this reissue will introduce a new exclusive track titled “Little Sailor” and live versions of the album’s original tracks. The collection will feature a total of 25 songs, available on both the Collector’s Edition 4’ LP and the Standard Double CD.

Smith also recently unveiled their new podcast titled The Pink House, launching on June 13. This interview podcast series will showcase prominent figures in the entertainment industry, such as Elliot Page, Gloria Estefan and Ben Platt. The podcast draws its name from Smith’s childhood home in Great Chishill and shares its title with Smith’s recently established charitable foundation, which focuses on supporting and protecting the LGBTQ+ community.

Smith previously released their album Gloria last year.
