After taking a five-year hiatus, New York singer-songwriter stella. will return as he releases his sophomore EP A Study In Balance on June 14. Stella. released the third and final single for the EP, the record’s title track, on May 3 and released two previous singles “Something About You” and “Dreaming.” The upcoming EP’s title track is an upbeat and soft song and is a perfect reflection of stella.’s honest songwriting, which charismatically delivers feelings of love, heartbreak and hope.

The NYC native made his musical debut with the release of his 2018 single “Back to Me.” That same year, stella. released his inaugural EP Amalfi. In 2019 he released his follow-up single “Still Choose You” before ultimately taking a break from music. Throughout these years, the singer-songwriter focused on rebuilding his relationships both with music and with himself. Now, stella. is excited to drop his highly-anticipated sophomore EP before putting out his debut full-length album that will soon follow.

Throughout his entire discography, stella. flawlessly and effortlessly conveys human emotion and experience. With the release of his first single in five years, “Dreaming,” it’s evident that stella. is ready to tackle his career head-on with a recharged artistic spirit and an energized soul. Taking inspiration from a variety of artists including Leonard Cohen and Brandi Carlisle, stella.’s music is both an exploration and a confession of struggle, love and honesty.

Outside of his work under stella., the “Back to Me” singer also writes and records music under the name Francis Aud that falls under the genres of pop and funk. Additionally, he also writes and produces children’s music and a member of the music duo Matt & Dan. Under stella., the wistful musician has established himself as a diverse and eclectic rising star, writing both soft acoustic numbers and upbeat pop tracks. With a radiant musical background and a positive vibe regarding his upcoming EP that has been nearly four years in the making, stella. is only just getting started as he pursues his artistry with a new outlook, thus making him a definite artist to have on your radar.
