Sabrina Carpenter Asks For a Normal Relationship In New Song “Please Please Please”

Date:

Sabrina Carpenter is no stranger to success. Following the global success of her chart-topping hit “Espresso,” her memorable debut on Saturday Night Live, and a much-talked-about set at Coachella, Sabrina Carpenter is back with her latest single and music video, “Please Please Please.” She has delivered one pop anthem after another, earning multiple awards and certifications, and has performed to sold out crowds across the globe. Her latest release “Please Please Please” is the second single from her highly-anticipated upcoming album, Short n’ Sweet.

“Please Please Please” is a plea for a normal relationship. Through dreamy synths and lush harmonies, Sabrina Carpenter begs her partner to prove himself to her friends, family, fans, and even herself. Lyrics such as “I know I have good judgment, I know I have good taste / It’s funny and it’s ironic that only I feel that way / I promise ’em that you’re different and everyone makes mistakes” show a determination to prove that her partner is worthy of her time and love.
