Start Your Journey With amilost On New Single “Bloom”

Date:

The Norwegian-British duo amilost is the new face of Scandinavian pop. They are known for their intimate live show atmosphere, bringing the crowd together on a rollercoaster of emotions yet allowing every listener to have their own personal journey. Their latest single, “Bloom”, is another profound offering as they aim to capture something more common in the human experience.

Over busy percussion, smooth vocals detail the end of a toxic relationship. “Bloom” is about letting go and naturally finding your own path. The lyrics compare this experience with a bud unable to bloom. “Bloom” inspires listeners to reflect on their own lives and explore who they really are.

Sharing more about “Bloom”, amilost vocalist Sigrid Zeiner-Gundersen comments:

“‘Bloom’ is a bittersweet anthem about being single, the road that leads you to it, and the feeling of gratitude for the journey… Coming out of that toxic relationship feels like thawing, but soon you’re ready to bloom and make life beautiful again on your own terms. Blooming after a bad situation is such a high that you don’t want to come down from, and it really motivates you to focus on yourself and be grateful for everything you have.”
