Fiona Joy Unleashes Resentment in “you ghost”

Date:

Fiona Joy features poetic lyrics that portray the strong emotions surrounding heartbreak in her most recent release, “you ghost”. Influenced by rock and roll, Joy has created a pop rock tune that will stick in your head long after it is done playing.

“you ghost” explores the feelings attached to coming to terms with the confusion that often comes with being “ghosted” by someone – when they disappear without leaving any sort of reasonable explanation behind. Ultimately, Joy reaches a stage of resentment in the song’s lyrics, as she sings with deep bitterness in her voice.

About the song’s production, Joy added:

“In the studio, my producer and I found ways to make the instrumentals cohesive with the message of the song. Distorted bass, dirty electric guitar, and haunting emotional vocals.”

Joy’s most recent track can be found anywhere music is streamed.
