Coastal Club Drop New Single “conversation” Ahead of Upcoming Album

Date:

Ahead of their new EP All of the Things You Said, set to come out July 19, native Cincinnati rockers Coastal Club released their latest single “conversation” on May 17. The band’s newest track is said to be one of their favorites off the upcoming album, citing it as a fun song to listen to and jam out to live.

Opening up as a crooning and romantic track, “conversation” picks up to an incredibly upbeat and lively pace nearly at 90 seconds in, amping up listeners with a beat that screams summer and sunshine. Expressing the longing of a hopeless romantic, “conversation” is spoken from a narrator who, despite their inability to carry one on, is desperate for just one conversation with the one their heart longs for. Equal parts charming and cheeky, “conversation” is a definitive track from the Nashville-based outfit.

“conversation” is the second single to be released ahead of Coastal Club’s newest album since their 2020 EP i get nervous sometimes. The album’s first single “Cigarettes” came out on April 12 and the band says they will put out one more single before the album’s release in July. A song that flows like the ocean and rides like your favorite hot rod, “conversation” is an exciting, addicting, and nostalgic track from summer’s favorite indie group.
