Irish rock band The Script took to social media yesterday to announce details about their seventh studio album, Satellites, set for release on Aug. 16.
Alongside this announcement, the band released their new single โBoth Ways,โ their first single since the death of lead guitarist and backing vocalist Mark Sheehan in April 2023. The hooded silhouette on the album cover represents Sheehan. Reminiscent of Bruno Marsโs โLocked Out of Heaven,โ โBoth Waysโ is a high-energy track that proves that there is life after darkness.
The Script also announced their Autumn UK & European Headline Arena Tour this summer, starting on Aug. 12 show in Nashville, Tennessee.
โItโll never be the same Script,โ lead singer Danny OโDonoghue said. โWeโre just trying to get on and do what it is that we all feel is the next right thing to do and thatโs to keep making more great music.โ
