The Script announce fourth studio album ‘Satellites’ out Aug. 16

Date:

Irish rock band The Script took to social media yesterday to announce details about their seventh studio album, Satellites, set for release on Aug. 16.

Alongside this announcement, the band released their new single โ€œBoth Ways,โ€ their first single since the death of lead guitarist and backing vocalist Mark Sheehan in April 2023. The hooded silhouette on the album cover represents Sheehan. Reminiscent of Bruno Marsโ€™s โ€œLocked Out of Heaven,โ€ โ€œBoth Waysโ€ is a high-energy track that proves that there is life after darkness.

The Script also announced their Autumn UK & European Headline Arena Tour this summer, starting on Aug. 12 show in Nashville, Tennessee.

Preorder Satellites now.

โ€œItโ€™ll never be the same Script,โ€ lead singer Danny Oโ€™Donoghue said. โ€œWeโ€™re just trying to get on and do what it is that we all feel is the next right thing to do and thatโ€™s to keep making more great music.โ€
