JORDY announces ‘SEX WITH MYSELF’ album just in time for Pride Month

Date:

Pop artist JORDY has released his newest single “CAN U HOST?” today, just in time to also announce his upcoming album SEX WITH MYSELF, arriving Friday, June 14.

JORDY previously released his debut record Mind Games three years ago and BOY last year.

The singer initially teased this new project with “SECOND MINUTE HOUR” in February. The track has since amassed more than 1.8 million streams on Spotify.

“I’m almost 30, and of course, I have written about sex before, but never in this uninhibited way. I wanted to use this as a moment to say, ‘I’m a grown up now and this is my experience,’” JORDY said.

“CAN U HOST?” is an upbeat, dance-pop track about sex and inhibitions; it features neon synths and a pulsating groove that makes you want to get up and dance. JORDY asks his partner if they can go somewhere else to have sex in this cheeky, tounge-in-cheek.

JORDY is known for his authentically honest and vulnerable music and SEX WITH MYSELF is an exhilarating self-empowerment record about hookups, heartbreak, pleasure, sex and love.
