ROSIE describes her greatest fears in “Try Again”

Date:

It is too soon to say what more we can expect from ROSIE this year, but with all she has accomplished thus far, we can assume that her next moves will be great. So far in 2024, the always authentic singer-songwriter has made a splash, releasing “Little Bit Better” with Caleb Hearn and “Lose Me Too,” the first single from an “upcoming project.” In March, ROSIE teased a video of a new single on TikTok, playing part of it for her labelmate Thomas Day. It went absolutely viral, with fans asking for ROSIE to drop the single ASAP. Nearly a month later, the time has come to hear this song in full.

On “Try Again,” ROSIE puts all her worries and fears out on the table. In the beginning, she is accompanied by wistful acoustic guitar, gently telling listeners about someone who “had the heart of an angel / but the head of a fool.” The production then fills out as more instrumentation enters the picture, enhancing ROSIE’s warm pop vocals. She continues on, describing not only relationship fears but greater anxieties as well. ROSIE sings, “I’m scared I’ll never feel like I’m enough / That I’m a little too fragile to love,” and concluding, “But what scares me the most in the end / Is that we’ll never get to try again.”

Telling us more about “Try Again,” ROSIE shares,

“‘Try Again’ talks very literally about what I’m afraid of – death, living, car crashes, losing someone I love, etc. In this song, I am facing the fact that these are some of my greatest fears.”

You can listen to “Try Again” on platforms like Spotify, SoundCloud, and Apple Music.
