Søren Hansen has graced us with the phenomenal release entitled “Zoned Out.”
The vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer landed in Nashville where he planted roots and made a name for himself as a songwriter and producer. However, as he kept producing for others he couldn’t help but want to do his own solo project, some songs made him reflect on his childhood struggles, losing his mom, and what makes him who he is. He aligned those songs into the masterpiece that is his 2024 self-titled full-length debut album, Søren Hansen.
“I never thought I would be on stage ever again,” he states. “Suddenly, I started getting the urge. I created some songs I really loved, and I was proud enough of this music to want to play it live. That was the whole reason for getting into this project—to process all of those thoughts. There were things I was sorry about and things I was happy about. Finally, there was a place I could put them. Even if it was merely a folder on my desktop, that was enough for me. It was incredible to go back and be an artist again.” Hansen states.
In “Zoned Out” you will get a glimpse of Hansen’s incredible vocal range alongside relatable lyrics, and a very upbeat drums. This song truly puts you in your feels with the lyrics “I’m barely holding on, i’m not okay, why do I feel so alone, can anybody stay?” With more expected from Hansen in the upcoming months, click the link below to stay up to date.
