The Mysterines release new single “Sink Ya Teeth”

Date:

Liverpool alternative rock band The Mysterines have unveiled their upcoming single “Sink Ya Teeth” ahead of their sophomore album Afraid of Tomorrows, scheduled for release on June 7 via Fiction Records.

The band consists of Lia Metcalfe (frontwoman), Paul Crilly (drummer), George Favager (bassist) and Callum Thompson (guitarist). They are ready to introduce their new music after being secluded away in the countryside while on tour with the Arctic Monkeys.

Afraid of Tomorrows is a mirror where you find you’re nothing more than a formless being, one made from celestial constellations — of traumas, of the old and new, mistakes, addiction, fear and happiness, loneliness, but ultimately a desire for life and the fight to keep living. It’s a collage of what’s been lost and of love unbounded” says Lia.

Through Metcalfe’s emotive delivery, Afraid of Tomorrows not only showcases the band’s musical prowess but also exudes confidence and reveals a fresh sonic direction.
