Hello Sister, a sister-band from Florida, sees Grace on keyboards and bass, Gabriella on guitar, and Scarlett on drums. Their music echoes back to the Avril Lavigne days of music, reminiscent of teenage rock ‘n roll. The trio recently unveiled their latest single titled “17,” recognizing nostalgic patterns within relationships. It’s about the desires and struggles when you are young and in love.

“17” blends electric beats with layered guitar and soft vocals, conveying both pain and angst. The track is reminiscent of the styles of Green Day, Lavigne and the Jonas Brothers. The vocals are delivered with intensity, capturing the essence of the angsty teenage heartbreak of what it’s like to actually be 17.

“I thought it would work out this time / That look in your eyes when I saw you / Talking to her on the stairs.” The narrative unfolds with conflicted emotions – torn and confused — as they admit, “Told myself I didn’t care,” yet they still grapple with the question of why they still care so much at 17.
