Dua Lipa Set to Release Highly Anticipated Third Album, ‘Radical Optimism’, Inspired By Self-Discovery and True Joy, Out May 3rd

Date:

Dua Lipa’s upcoming album, Radical Optimism, will immerse listeners in a “dreamy pop world” that is unapologetically bold both lyrically and musically. Rolling Stone describes the album as “pop bliss,” a fitting description for an artist who consistently delivers chart-topping hits.

The multi-award-winning artist, boasting 3 Grammys and 7 BRIT Awards, shared that a friend introduced her to the term “Radical Optimism” some years back, and it struck a chord with her. She explained that it made her feel capable of gracefully navigating chaos and weathering any storm. Her forthcoming album is heavily influenced by her hometown of London, drawing inspiration from the confident and liberated spirit of ’90s Britpop.

With her recent singles “Houdini” and “Training Season,” we’re expecting an album full of joyful and uplifting tracks. However, knowing her tendency to include a ballad or two, we’re also eager to hear the emotional depth she’ll bring to the record. Collaborating with talents like Caroline Ailin, Danny L. Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Kevin Parker, the album is shaping up to be a diverse and exciting musical journey.

You can enter Dua Lipa’s dreamy pop world on May 3rd, but until then you can listen to the two leading singles, “Houdini” and “Training Season” and pre-save the album here.
