Indie-alternative group Cloudbelly drops powerful lead single “Fascinated”

Date:

Cloudbelly - "Fascinated"

Cloudbelly just dropped their first full-length track, “Fascinated,” and it’s an anthem calling on both the artist and the listeners to face their limitations head-on. The band consists of Corey Laitman on vocals and guitar and Sam Perry on guitar, and Nate Mondschein on drums and production

The track is the lead single from their upcoming album, i know i know i know, which is set to include high-energy mixed with intimate moments that draw listeners in instantaneously. It opens with an electric guitar riff that weaves in and out of the verses.

“Fascinated” beautifully sets the stage for Cloudbelly’s upcoming album, establishing them as a rising indie-alternative group, reminiscent of Mitski and boygenius. Laitman sings, “I failed you twice / I failed too many times.” They wrote a majority of i know i know i know in the aftermath of two, consecutively failed relationships.

Laitman’s emotional pain is expressed throughout the album, allowing then to grapple with grief, where they must reminisce, forgive and reconcile with the pain inevitably of those relationships coming to a close.

The band is preparing for a national tour to share their new releases with audiences across the United States.
