Date:

Tim Voilhat - "Scandi Queen"

Australian-Norwegian musical artist Tim Voilhat explores love for Scandinavian pop queens in their catchy new single, “Scandi Queen.” Voilhat and their band made their debut at Malakoff Rockfestival a year and a half ago during the summer of 2022.

In this musical tribute to iconic Scandinavian pop icons such as Robyn, Sigrid, Dagny, Zara Larsson and Veronica Maggio, the singer transports listeners to the retro vibes from the 1970s and 1980s with “Scandi Queen.”

Known for crafting feel-good melodies that embrace fruit cocktails and moments of solitude, Voilhat now spends their days immersed in creativity. Accompanied by a pink cassette player and picking flowers in nature, the artist explores the Norwegian woods alone in “Scandi Queen.” This bright and electric track invites listeners on a musically enlightening and vibrant journey.

Voilhat’s music has been played on Norwegian radio and BBC Radio, gaining attention in Norway, Brazil and the United States. This recognition even earned them a place among the top 10 most thrilling artists in Australia by Boot Music.
